#2: Hotel California - The Eagles

The chords are very simple, but the message is extremely profound.  I have played this song hundreds (maybe thousands) of times and I can never tire of it.

#3. Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door - Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Guns and Roses

Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a crowd pleaser for so many reasons.  First off, it's super easy to play and you can add your own flare to it.  Most importantly, even though it was originally written by Bob Dylan in the 70s, it was covered by rock legend Eric Clapton in the 1970s and again in 1987 by metal band Guns and Roses.
