I was looking forward to voice lessons but Brenda didn’t even bother showing up to the initial consultation or sending an email saying that she’s running late or that she couldn’t make it. Very un professional and a waste of time

I saw Brenda's piano ads online. Thought about signing up for lessons but was a little intimidated, me being such a beginner. Well Brenda emailed me and offered a zoom online meet up to greet and chat. She was great. Reassuring and explained the learning journey to me. I'm so glad I signed up. I'm 71 just retired, Aircraft Mechanic and always regretted stopping piano lessons as a young kid. I look forward to the lessons and am steadily improving. Learning major minor chords and triads and songs. So enjoyable to play for myself as I learn. Brenda is so patient and encouraging. Highly recommend her teaching talents. Paul

Brenda is an incredible teacher. In a few months I went from struggling to sustain high notes to belting a high D with ease. Every person that’s heard me sing in the last couple of weeks has noticed my growth. Not only has my singing improved, but my confidence and knowledge has grown as well. My ear has become sharper and I’m able to correct mistakes because of Brenda’s teaching method. She encourages honesty and asking question. Any time I’m making a mistake she asks me what are the things that I can do to correct it and immediately the problem is fixed, so when I’m practicing at home alone, I am able to recognize these mistakes and I have the tools to correct them. Her lessons are fun and we get so much done every time. One of my favorite things about working with Brenda is that she always asks me If what she’s saying is making sense and If I feel it’s helping. You don’t get that type of care and attention with every teacher, she is genuinely happy to see my improvement. I would recommend her to any one, from beginners to experts, If you’re looking to take your singing to the next level, Brenda is the person to go to!

Brenda has been absolutely amazing! When my 9-year-old daughter Grace first started lessons, she could barely carry a tune, but under Brenda’s guidance, she has truly found her voice. Brenda is energetic, engaging, and incredibly talented. Her lessons are not only filled with learning but also so much fun that Grace looks forward to every session. We are beyond grateful for the confidence and joy Brenda has helped Grace discover through singing. Highly recommend! She is a MUST for your child's musical development.

Brenda is an incredible and engaging teacher! I have been taking piano lessons from her for almost a year, and it's been a joy to learn from her and see myself grow as a pianist. I had taken lessons as a child and came into her music room with very little memory of piano, and it was almost magical to see how quickly skills came back under her teaching. She's patient, encouraging, and a "hype queen", and no matter what age you are, you'll have the best experience learning from her.

Brenda has provided me with incredible coaching and mentorship as my voice teacher. She has not only taught me how to sing, but how to be confident in my voice. If I ever feel like I’ve hit a wall with an aspect of my singing, she shows me that it’s actually a door and helps me figure out how to open it.

Working with Brenda is my favorite selfish joy of the week. I am in my mid twenties and have loved singing since I was a little girl, although I stopped working on my vocals in college. I found Brenda because I wanted to work on my voice and practice a song to surprise my fiance at our wedding in September, and I am so so grateful! Each session I can feel my vocal folds getting stronger and my confidence grows, not just for singing but also daily speech. I find it completely worthwhile and good for anyone regardless of whether they sing. The environment is also very welcoming and safe. My family always says they know I am happy when I am singing, and since working with Brenda I am able to let it flow much more frequently 🙂

Brenda is a fantastic teacher of piano. She is clearly the best of all the teachers we have tried. She has vast experience in a broad range of genres and performance settings which she shares readily in her lessons. Her methods of teaching facilitate rapid progress with technique and theory. Her ability to teach how to create accompaniment pieces, intros, outros and solos for performance is quite impressive.
