In this piano tutorial, I show you how to play Here, There and Everywhere by the Beatles. This is such a beautiful song that one of my private students requested and I made up a very simple but lovely arrangement of it that I wanted to share with you.
Here, There and Everywhere is a gorgeous ballad from the Beatles’ 1966 album Revolver. The song was written by the amazing team of Lennon and McCartney and harkens back to Golden Age songs like Where or When by Rodgers and Hart and If I Loved You by Rodgers and Hammerstein. You don’t often see this songwriting form in rock music, so it really adds too its beauty.

Step #1 – Learn the Chords
Lyrics and Chords to Here, There and Everywhere
Step #2: Figure out accompaniment strategy.
In order to add harmonic and rhythmic interest, we are going to break the triad up between the two hands. In this case, the left hand is going to play 1 – 5 and the right hand is going to play 3 – 5.
Left Hand: 1 – 5. Right Hand: 3 – 5
For the sequence of F#-7 to B7 we are going to break up the chords and voice lead this way.
Step #3: Put the entire arrangement all together
Take your time and make sure that you are keeping solid time. Use the metronome!!
