Motivation Monday: Move a muscle, change a thought

I am often asked how I get everything done.  Between homeschooling my son, running a busy private studio and building my online course business, I understand busy.  I can share with you a huge hangup that I have seen so many people struggle with.  Maybe you have experienced this too.  I like to try something called “Move a muscle, change a thought.”

Change a thought

Sometimes when someone has an idea or a goal, they think that they need to have some kind of a mindset change.  That results them in consulting a mindset coach, or a life coach, or investing in expensive courses to help them to set the right goals.

What ends up happening is that they start devoting energy and time into mindset and life coaching exercises, which means they are actually not getting starting doing the ACTUAL THING THEY WANTED TO DO.  This results in a whole lot of work and struggle doing a bunch of work that doesn’t get them closer to their goal.

If you are so stuck by self doubt or procrastination that you are unable to start AT ALL, that’s probably an instance where you would want to seek help, but I’ll share something that has helped me in my own life.

Move a muscle

It’s easy:  Just START.  

Every time I take steps to move in the direction of my goal, however tiny, it gives me the spark of encouragement to keep going.  Watch the video to learn more!
